INSTRUCTION - Starts Nov 1, 2020

Classes taught by Dorian will have him demonstrate various approaches to painting and drawing. During class he will work on his own pieces and provide individual guidance.

Instruction will address how to organize a creative response to the immediacy of the subject by blocking in value and color, then refining it further.  Composition, proportion, anatomy and basic design will also be addressed. The approach taught is direct and spontaneous, designed to achieve results that honor life.

These classes are designed for individuals who desire a nuanced understanding of realism in art. Comparisons will be offered on the techniques and values of both past and contemporary masters.

Classes are ongoing. Students can start at any time.
